we begin on christmas eve withe me mark, andmy roommate, roger. we live in an industrial loft on the corner of 11th street and Avenue B, the top floor of what once was a music publishing factory.....
old rock and roll posters hand on the walls. they have roger's picture on them advertising gigs at CBGBs and the pyramid club.
we have an illegal wood burning stov; it's exhaust pipe crawls up to the skylight
all of our electrical appliances are plugged into one thick extention cord which snakes its way out the window.
Outside a small cardboard city has sprung up in the lot next to our building.
inside we arre freezing.... because we haven o hear
