thats acctually not a bad idea to quit. if that doesn't work, try picking up a pack of something you absoloutley HATE smoking, in your case probably Newports or something menthol. you'll want one so bad that if you break down and smoke one, you probably won't smoke more than a few puffs before you can't take it anymore and put it out. and just remember its aaall psychological! ;)

^ yeah, i'd second that. a friend of mine did that and it worked. she hasn't smoked in almost a year now and has no desire to.
my psych professor last year was quitting by smoking like six or seven packs in one day. nothing like good ol' aversion therapy.
