Winterpark, Colorado. It was April, but we got over 2 feet of snow while we were there. We would have lasted longer if we'd been wearing shoes.

I needed mine, without them it was way too painful to step anywhere. If fact, that entire picture hurt, the person taking it had 3 layers under a thick coat.
