Kidney infection, I couldn barely walk, couldn't sleep at night, finally went to the hospital, they said my kidney was swollen up like a balloon....great stuff.....
They didn't give me ANY pain medicine!!! I'm still dying!!!!

can you take ibuprofin? That should help with the inflammation a little, or did they want nature to run it's course?

ive had 2 kidney infections, a week in the hospital each with lots of morphine and pain killers. if you need something let me know, i thought i got stabbed and was throwing up. I have liquid morphine too. Im suprised they didnt give you anything.

I think its getting better with tons of ibeprofen and tylenol PM. Thanks though! They gave me just some antibiotics.....I'm still in pain...but now I just know how many pain killers to take at a time so it doesn't hurt that bad!!!

I was on really stong antibotics and had an IV for drugs, then they sent me home with a lot of drugs, that shit hurts.

it could of been the fact I was there for a week and came in with a 104.2 fever and vomiting. It almost felt like a really bad pulled muscle. I went to UCH the last time with a minor one and they gave me strong penicillin and 10 vicoden and sent me on my way... maybe your doc was in a bad mood.
-im to lazy to sign off this name.
hope you feel better though, drink a lot of water and stuff it will help flush it out more
