No, I do not. Domestic Anti-fire arm legislation was minimal. In fact, Dr. Von Rosenstiel told me of the increase of fire arms among all classes from 1923-1945. There was no organized plan to eliminate these arms from the populace because there was no need to. Nazi ideology could easily see "racially superior" racism and ethnic cleansing completed no matter what weapons their enemies had. A gun culture was very much alive with the general population during the Third Reich and in the Soviet Union.
Don't get me wrong, I support the right to have arms. You don't have to use the history of these extreme ideologies to prove a point. All you need is to remind people of this:
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

but many people say the 2nd ammendment doesnt include this gun or that gun. they want to interpret it to mean that you are only allowed to have flintlocks.
they have already started disarming people in Kalifornistan, Chicago, and DC. it all starts with excess regulation, then registration, then they come to take em. they couldnt demand people give up their guns in one fail swoop, there would be a war. you have to do it one step at a time. that is exactly what chuck schumer, kerry, diane feinswine, barbra boxer, ted kennedy and other leading democrats are doing. if you are passing laws "for the safety of the children" how could anyone vote against them?
know what happens when you disarm law abiding citizens? they become victims. DC has one of the highest murder rates in the country.
gun laws are only followed by those that recoginze them. in other words, they dont apply to criminals. meaning that because of the actions of a few dumbasses (that break the law anyways), law abiding folks such as myself and many others on this site are punished.
if you live in san francisco, the 2nd ammendment be damned. no guns are allowed, period.
enforce the goddamned laws on the books and crimes with guns would decrease tremendously.
