Description
What vehicle did this engine come out of? It's hooked up to the back-up generator for the Anna Maria Island Draw Bridge.

Ok, I found out that it didn't come from a automobile. I found a closer pic, and the plate below the exhaust manifold says "Ford Industrial Engine."

It's a four bolt main 289 Ford motor, circa 1970.

shows what I know. I was going to guess that it was a Detroit diesel engine because it's used to power a generator and it's the same color as a lot of the earlier detroit 2 stroke engines.
