Nope it's an EB Dana 44. The swap took about... I don't even know. the actually work was easy. Had the axle under the truck in about an hour. But locating all the right parts and was kinda hard. and I already had the TTB suspension removed. The EB axle pretty much just bolted in.

a buddy of mine has a d30 under his explorer now, but he's going to move up to the d44, that's why I ask. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures of it...

yeah, it's real easy swap. The only fabed part is the trac-bar bracket on the frame and I have a friend in Lakeland who makes them. Other than that, no welding except for the steering. Or you could use hiem joints. also nothing is welded to the frame.
