Awww I have three hedgehogs and they are not evil, okay maybe Nemo is but not all of them. You should try picking him up with a washcloth or bare handed so they get used to your smell. Gloves can scare them. One of my hedgies loves to chew on my shirt just like that. He will grab a part of it and pull on it until he gets tired of it. So cute!
