Yea, flying is certainly a blast! I only need a couple more hours to get my license and then I plan on getting myself a small underwing single engine plane- I haven't decided on a specific model as of yet, though.
So far, this is one of the models I'm considering...

King, My personal fav for just flying around is a clipped wing J3 Cub. Cool plane, cheap to run and awsome to take out daily (cause you can afford it)

I flew in cub's when I was a kid. There so much fun. I really like the Gruman though its a blast.

Yea, pretty much a good idea of the cost, but I don't have the exact figures. I haven't heard of any clubs that rent the J3 Cub in FL either. I haven't flown much down here- mainly I fly back home, but I probably will finish up my license down here as this is something that I want to complete ASAP.
