The pic has a low horizon, meaning the bottom of the pic is placed near the bottom of the subject being photographed, hence all the visual attention to the surroundings more so than the subject. Had the horizon been placed at about the level of your kneecaps, the wreaths would recieve less attention and the subject would recieve more attention by the viewer. Kinda like sunset photos...a full length sunset photo has people looking at the sunset as much as the subject....a torso shot with a sunset backgroud has people looking at the subject. Same shit.
