Honestly I just look at it this way:
Ok if something is going on there, post it on the calander, maybe a post in late night to say something is going on, fine. But when they start having promoters IMing everyone with the same message that we already see a million times on here, how does that differ from spam email, besides the fact it isn't email? It is annoying enough to have unsolicited phone calls from companies, then spam email from a million other companies, and now spamming AIM as well?
Fletcher's has two things mainly; dancing and drinking. Being underage I can't drink there. I'm not a fan of dancing. Nor am I a fan of the music people dance to. If not liking to dance means I have no life, then I have no life.

I haven't even made 100 posts in the whole month, let alone 1000 in a week. If I made 1000 in a week then yes I would say I had no life. Ok cameron do you ever get sick of viagra emails, or penis enlargement email or anything like that? Same idea here when it comes to IMing people. I dont mind seeing messages on the board that much, its the fact that they are taking screennames off the site and sending them all the same thing.

You have to admit you have a bit of a biased opinion on this because apparently alot of your fraternity works and/or goes there all the time. You didn't answer to my point about the gas though. Anyways, I know promoters have a job to do, much like phone solicitors have a job to do. I don't know about you but I hate phone solicitors. Same goes for the promotors. But after reading about it on the site I could make a decision as to if I want to go or not. Seeing the same message on my AIM doesn't alter my decision any, however seeing it on my AIM after seeing it a few times here builds up an annoyance by it. In the end, I think I just find the IMing deal as a bit of overkill. Obviously not everyone posts about how sick of it they are, but also not everyone posts that they are going to go either. So you really can't say how many people are sick of it.
Between: 1) The ad on the front of the site 2) the multiple messages on the calander 3) the posts in the late night section, don't you think that is enough?
As for post count, no argument there it's cool. I've been on the site since close to when it started, so it really doesn't average out to that many posts per day =\

What's really funny is that you named two of the shittiest places to go in all of Tampa, the only way you could have made your post any funnier would be to include Bahasa.
Brickyard is horrible, the reason that they have specials all the time is because no one would go there otherwise. They have stale beer, a poor selection of liquor, and shitty music. Sure, there are a few people there, but there are a few people everywhere.
And it would be really funny if you were to try and accuse me of hardly going out; Fletcher's, Brickyard, and Bahasa are horrible places to go. I know.
