You would be suprised how long it takes for those things to come to a stop, and they also have the tendency to skid when you smash on the brakes... the driver probabled swerved to avoid an idiot, locked up the breaks and went sailing into the fence.

i also recal a time during a small rain storm, i got the tail end of one of those loose going too fast around a corner.
