No offense or anything- I like the style of the pic, but these things would have made the pic look *much* better:
1. Wearing a tie. (The lack of a tie makes the outfit look unfinished. If you wanted a shirt/jacket look, then the collar should have been unbuttoned.)
2. Wearing a shirt of the proper neck size. (It appears to be almost an inch too big and makes it look sloppy.)
3. Shave. (the lack of a clean-shaven appearance adds to the sloppiness of the pic. If you wanted a scruffy look, then you should have worn a more casual outfit.)
...otherwise, I like the pic and the wardrobe choices.

^A properly-fitted dress shirt collar is not supposed to have a gap of more than a finger's space between neck and collar. It is not supposed to drape down like that, but rather be up close to the neck- without such a noticable gap.

hmmm so i guess my three years of experience at an upper level men's store as well as my experience tailoring men's clothes means...nothing. if he were wearing a tie, there would be no gap. therefore, it's the right size. uh can't believe im talking aobut this.

someone alert tom ford and most any other person in the fashion industry that Dan is the expert. honestly this wasnt anything serious but thanks for taking it there. very flattering. your critique says alot about the fact you are insecure about yourself so you have to try to pick apart others, I guess if you saw i was wearing camoflage cargo shorts and puma's you might cry.

well this photog might cost you a mint, i worked with him on a job so he did a couple screw around shots like this. www.joemcnally.com like i said, i had shorts and puma's on. it wasnt a dead serious shoot.
