Either way: The SPAS is a 12, and the one up top looks like atleast a 20...

lol, oh hell no! its a 12ga! rem 870, new barrel, side saddle, mag ext, butt pad, SSS adapter, safety button, etc... the shells go slug, slug, slug, 00 Buck Magnum, bird shot, bird shot.
it is deeefinately a 12, why would you use anything else for home defense?

Have you guys ever handled a SPAS-12. That's one bitch I wouldn't want to drag around. It looks bad ass though. Unfortunately, I have never had the pleasure of shooting one.
This thread reminded me of an interesting link, that I recommend my shooter friends to peruse. The guy informally tests all the hearsay concerning different types of guns and cartridges.

its heavy, but its semi auto or pump. too bad Klinton and his boys had it banned from import. they used to be around $500, now you cant find one for under $1000.
i have had 2 shotguns in mind:
its the striker 12, too bad the hillsborough county sheriff wont sign off on law abiding citizens owning one.
most likely tho, this is what i will buy, damn, I love AK's
